Rainy Day Warranty Benefits

  • Cease of Operations Cover: Get a full refund (of remaining package credits) if Wellaholic ceases operations as a result of any circumstances.
  • Pregnancy Cover: Freeze your treatment package indefinitely if you discover that you are pregnant.
  • Hospitalisation Cover: Freeze your treatment package indefinitely if you are hospitalised (for any conditions).
  • Travel Cover: Freeze your treatment package indefinitely if you need to travel (for leisure or for business).
  • Transfer Cover: Make a one-time transfer of your package (remaining credits) to another friend (no questions asked).
  • Plan Swop Cover: Make a switch to another service package (using remaining credits with top-up) (no questions asked).
  • Accidental Injury Cover: Be insured up to S$30,000 in the event of accidental injury during treatment.

HOW DOES RAINY DAY WARRANTY WORK?

How can Wellaholic's Rainy Day Warranty benefit you? Check out the possible scenarios below:
CEASE OF OPERATIONS COVER

Wellaholic suddenly announces that it will be ceasing operations for all its outlets in Singapore.

  • Customer has an existing package with Wellaholic worth $5000. 
  • She has utilised 10% of the package (i.e. $500).
  • Wellaholic refunds to the customer the remaining 90% (i.e. $4500).

PREGNANCY COVER

Customer realises that she is pregnant while mid-way through her time-based service package:

  • Customer retrieves from gynecologist a proof of pregnancy and shows it to Wellaholic.
  • Wellaholic freezes customer’s existing package indefinitely (with no stipulated deadline).
  • When customer is ready to resume the package, she notifies Wellaholic.

Pacifier

HOSPITALISATION COVER

Customer is admitted to the hospital mid-way through his time-based service package:

  • Customer retrieves from the hospital a proof of hospital admission and shows it to Wellaholic.
  • Wellaholic freezes customer’s existing package indefinitely (with no stipulated deadline).
  • When customer is ready to resume the package, he notifies Wellaholic.
TRAVEL COVER

Customer needs to make a trip out of Singapore mid-way through her time-based service package:

  • Customer retrieves her flight itinerary (paid) and shows it to Wellaholic.
  • The Rainy Day Warranty covers both leisure and business trips. 
  • Wellaholic freezes customer’s existing package indefinitely (with no stipulated deadline).
  • When customer is ready to resume the package, she notifies Wellaholic.

Travel

TRANSFER COVER

Customer needs to leave Singapore indefinitely and is unable to utilise the remaining service plan with Wellaholic. 

  • Customer retrieves her flight itinerary (paid) and shows it to Wellaholic.
  • Customer updates Wellaholic with the transferee’s details (Full Name, Email and Mobile Number)
  • Wellaholic transfers the customer’s existing package (remaining credits) to the transferee. 
PLAN SWOP COVER

Customer realises that her existing service plan treatment is not ideal and would like to swop it for another service type. 

  • Customer notifies Wellaholic on Plan Swop. 
  • Customer uses the remaining package credits to choose another preferred service type and plan.
  • Customer tops up the difference in amount (if any).
  • Customer starts treatment based on the new service plan. 
ACCIDENTAL INJURY COVER

Customer is accidentally injured by Wellaholic staff during treatment. 

  • Customer takes photos of the injury and updates Wellaholic of her injury.
  • Wellaholic notifies the insurer on customer’s injury.
  • Insurer appoints an independent investigator to ascertain the cause and extent of injury. 
  • Insurer reimburses customer (up to S$30,000).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

TERMS & CONDITIONS GOVERNING RAINY DAY WARRANTY

General Conditions

  • Wellaholic Pte Ltd (“Wellaholic) provides a plan under the Rainy Day Warranty (“RDW”) for our treatments services and plans. 
  • Customer can purchase the RDW required for the service plan purchase (the “Plan”) on the sales/tax invoice (as a top up of 5% of treatment service plan).
  • Customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions relevant to the contract (“Contract”) chosen as set out in this contract.
  • Customer will receive the RDW certificate via email upon payment and registration. 
  • The term of the Contract corresponds with the time frame of the Plan, depending on the term selected as set out in the sales receipt/tax invoice. 
  • Each Contract corresponds to one treatment service plan reflected in the sales receipt/tax invoice. 

Definitions 

  • In this Contract, the following words have the following meanings:
  • (i) “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Wellaholic
  • (ii) “you”, and “your” refer to the purchaser of the Contract

Rainy Day Warranty Claim 

  • You can claim the benefits of the RDW based on the following conditions:
    • Cease of Operations Cover
    • Pregnancy Cover
    • Hospitalisation Cover
    • Travel Cover
    • Transfer Cover
    • Plan Swop Cover
    • Accidental Injury Cover
  • You are entitled to make only one claim regardless of the condition. The RDW will be voided upon your claim. 

Submission of Claim

  • For submission of your claim, please email to [email protected] with the following: 
    • Your Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Number; 
    • Your sales receipt/tax invoice for the service plan you purchased: 
    • Your Rainy Day Warranty certificate;
    • Your proof (based on the conditions which you are claiming for); 
    • Your desired date of resumption of your treatment (if applicable)

Cease of Operations Cover

  • Cease of operations refers to the state where Wellaholic closes all outlets in Singapore and stops all operations.
  • The refunded amount will be based on your remaining unused service credits (pro-rated) based on the last of operations of Wellaholic’s remaining outlet. 
  • The refunded amount exclude the GST (Good and Services Tax) collected as set out in the sales receipt/tax invoice.
  • The refunded amount will be transferred within 60 days to your designated local bank account.

Pregnancy Cover 

  • You can claim for Pregnancy Cover when you discover that you are pregnant. 
  • Pregnancy Cover will allow you to freeze your package indefinitely until you are ready to resume your treatment. 
  • You will need to produce a written proof of pregnancy from your gynecologist.
  • The date of the written proof of pregnancy must not precede the date set in the sales receipt/tax invoice.

Hospitalisation Cover 

  • You can claim for Hospitalisation Cover when you discover that you are hospitalised. 
  • Hospitalisation Cover will allow you to freeze your package indefinitely until you are ready to resume your treatment. 
  • You will need to produce a written proof of hospitalisation from your hospital. 
  • The date of the written proof of hospitalisation must not precede the date set in the sales receipt/tax invoice.

Travel Cover 

  • You can claim for Travel Cover when you need to make an unanticipated leisure or business trip overseas. 
  • Travel Cover will allow you to freeze your package indefinitely until you are back and ready to resume your treatment. 
  • You will need to produce a paid flight/travel itinerary from your flight/travel operator. 
  • The date of the paid flight/travel itinerary must not precede the date set in the sales receipt/tax invoice.

Transfer Cover 

  • You can claim for Transfer Cover when you need to leave Singapore indefinitely and cannot utilise the remaining amount of your service plan. 
  • Transfer Cover will allow you to transfer your remaining treatment plan credits (pro-rated) to a transferee of your choice. 
  • You will need to update Wellaholic with the transferee’s details (Full Name, Email and Mobile Number). 
  • You will need to produce a paid flight/travel itinerary from your flight/travel operator. 
  • The date of the paid flight/travel itinerary must not precede the date set in the sales receipt/tax invoice.

Plan Swop Cover 

  • You can claim for Plan Swop Cover when your existing treatment plan is not ideal for you (for any reasons). 
  • Plan Swop Cover will allow you to swop or upgrade your remaining package credits to another preferred service type and plan. 
  • You will need to top up the difference in amount (if any). 
  • If the preferred service type and plan is less than your remaining package credits, no cash refund will be given.

Accidental Injury Cover 

  • You can claim for Accidental Injury Cover if you are accidentally injured by a staff of Wellaholic during the course of your treatment. 
  • Wellaholic will notify the insurer about your injury. The insurer will appoint an independent investigator to ascertain the cause and extent of injury.
  • Based on the report from the investigator, the insurer may reimburse you (up to S$30,000) for damages.
